A much overused word in our language is "inspiring" and Miriam Chickering is certainly that. I think she has made such a huge impact in my life, because she personifies the person I always dreamed of becoming--someone who makes a difference in the world in a head-spinning way. Miriam started Nurses International.org about 5 short years ago, with herself and a handful of volunteers, with the mission of educating people in "low resource countries" as nurses.
