But, not long after he started this charity, tragedies befell him. His wife developed breast cancer, he developed prostate cancer, then melanoma and then Parkinson's Disease. A lesser man would have thrown in the towel, and gone back to his entertainment career, which didn't require international travel. But, Gary is one of a kind. He and his wife struggled bravely through their medical issues and are continuing their journey warming the tummies and souls of millions more.
