Having worked with Dr. Mehmet Oz and Dr. Sheldon Marc Feldman in the surgical rooms using Reiki before, during, and after surgeries, it has become apparent how powerful Reiki can be in helping reduce the pain, anxiety, blood loss, hence need for opioid medication following surgery. Upon the encouragement of Dr. Feldman, Raven Keyes, Medical Reiki Master Teacher, founded the organization Medical Reiki Works in order to raise funds for solid, scientific research to have clinical back up for the benefits to patients.
Together, Dr. Feldman and Raven have built a practice of integrative medicine
