According the the Center for Disease Control, approximately one in four adults 55 years of age or older are faced with some type of mental health issues.The most common conditions include anxiety, severe cognitive impairment, and depression.Many of today's older adults grew up when, not only was there a stigma associated with mental health problems, but also they were not as well understood as they are today. It is important for older adults to seek help if having any signs of mental issues.
