Candis Cox is a Gender and Sexuality educator, lecturer, and advocate for the LGBTQ community in Raleigh NC and throughout the country. Candis Cox

Candis Cox is an LGBTQ activist, author, model, and TV personality. Her activism includes being the only transgender person to meet with former NC governor Pat McCory about NC’s bathroom bill. She has also worked with several Fortune 500s, NFL, and universities to help develop LGBTQ inclusive policies. She has also been the recipient of the Pride Harvey Milk award and the Human Rights Campaign Person of the year. Originally from New York, Candis currently resides in NC with her husband Adam.
