Dr. Shad Satterthwaite

Dr. Shad Satterthwaite is the Director for Executive Business Programs in Aerospace and Defense. Before coming to the Gene Rainbolt Graduate School of Business, he served as Associate Dean for OU Extended Campus and Assistant Vice President for Continuing Education Academic Programs. Dr. Satterthwaite is a colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves and served two tours in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He is assigned to the Army War College as a faculty instructor where he co-teaches the Defense Planners Course. Dr. Satterthwaite has been named Foundation for Defense of Democracies Academic Fellow and the President’s Distinguished Faculty Mentoring Program Outstanding Mentor.
