In 2015, Mash was looking to find a job in Europe – that would also sponsor her work visa. With a background in marketing, it was difficult to stand out from other recent graduates, even despite her Master’s degree. So she decided to make myself more employable by adding coding skills to her resume – and she started teaching herself how to code. She found the experience pretty intimidating, especially since there are so many stereotypes around being a woman in tech but knew this was important to continue. Masha is an entrepreneur, content creator, educator, ex-googler, stereotype challenger and a girl with big dreams and ambitions.
Her hobbies include: discovering new things about technology, listening to inspiring stories of women, traveling, cooking everything from scratch, eating everything she has made, laughing, ideating, painting and she recently picked up candle-making.
She is originally from Russia, but she has worked and studied in 5 countries by now. Her background is in Marketing and Market Research and worked in as many environments: startups, a big company like Google, a university and now in her own business.
