Dr. Joseph Ravenell

Dr. Joseph Ravenell is a general internist, clinical educator, and clinician investigator with a health equity research focus. He is currently the director of the Cancer Prevention Navigation Program of the Perlmutter Cancer Center at NYU Langone Health. He also serves as professor of population health and medicine and associate dean for diversity affairs and inclusion at NYU’s Grossman School of Medicine. Dr. Ravenell is also co-director of the Beatrice W. Welters Breast Health Outreach & Navigation program, which helps women in underserved communities access breast cancer diagnosis, treatment, and support services.
