Kristi Tedesco spent 23-years working as a tireless investigative reporter, news anchor, and child advocate in Kansas, Indiana, and her hometown of Tucson. When Kristi dug into a series of child deaths in Tucson, it prompted state lawmakers to pass half a dozen child welfare reform laws. It's what led to Arizona's Child Protective Services (CPS) rebranding itself as the Department of Child Safety (DCS.)
