Stalking is a frustrating, terrifying and potentially deadly situation that affects an estimated 1.4 million people a year; mostly women. Though celebrity cases get national attention, most victims are ordinary folks who know their stalker and have had a prior relationship with them, either through business, dating, domestic partnership or marriage. On today’s show, Crime Prevention Specialist Susan Bartelstone interviews well-known radio and media personality Valerie Smaldone who is a two-time stalking victim, once by an obsessed fan and then by a good friend and colleague.
