Bob “Big Whit” Whitfield, was born October 18, 1971 in Carson, CA. He played 15 years in the NFL, drafted in the 1st round as the 8th pick, out of Stanford. He played with the Atlanta Falcons for 11 years, the Jacksonville Jaguars for a year, and his last two years with the New York Giants, before retiring. His career span from 1992-2006, with stats of 220 games played, with 176 as a starter, 5 fumble recoveries and a selection each to the All Pro & Pro Bowl teams.
