Dr. Frank Alcock serves as Director of a Marine Policy Institute at Mote Marine Laboratory in Sarasota, FL, and recently completed a report for the Century Commission on “Potential Impacts of Oil & Gas Exploration in the Gulf.” Frank is an Associate Professor of Political Science at New College of Florida where he teaches courses on world politics, international law, marine policy, and sustainable development and also heads the Environmental Studies program. He is also a Fellow with the Collins Center for Public Policy.
