In 2004 ten residents filed an environmental class action, known as Perrine v. DuPont, on behalf of themselves and others against the responsible companies for property damages, medical monitoring and punitive damages. Carol Moore was the lead investigator for the law firm who successfully litigated the case on behalf of more than 7000 residents.
