Bussey joins Martez Wilson as the second Illini linebacker selected by the Saints in the 2011 NFL Draft. Nate was a 7th Rd Draft Pick & spent most of this season on the practice squad. He was recently activated to the 53 man roster right before the play offs. Bussey hails from Washington DC and graduated from Dunbar HS. Played QB and S at Dunbar HS (Washington, D.C.) as well as returning kicks. He was first-team All-Met by The Washington Post in 2006 & honorable mention in 2005.
