“Juice Newton’s Fight for Dystonia” will headline a concert in San Diego on 2/19/12 at 7:00 PM at Sycuan Casino. Dystonia is a neurological voice disorder that involves "spasms" of the vocal cords causing interruptions of speech and affecting the voice quality. SD can cause the voice to break up or to have a tight, strained, or strangled quality. Ms. Newton became an advocate for this disorder when she learned that the President of her Fan Club has Dystonia. http://www.juicenewton.com

Martha Murphy

Martha Murphy has had cervical dystonia that affects her neck and shoulder for 36 years. It took 12 years for her to be correctly diagnosed. She started the Dystonia Support & Advocacy Group of San Diego County in 1987 and remains the group’s leader. Martha also works part-time for the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation as their Brain Bank Liaison and serves as their Pacific/Northwest Regional Coordinator. Paul Fowler
