March 19th 2012:Sexuality and Gender with Guest Charles Strauss

Gay, transgender, bisexual... far too often, the needs of LGBT people in recovery are not adequately addressed. In this hour, our guest will discuss a diverse range of sexuality and gender, and its relationship with addiction and mental health. Mr. Strauss will describe nuanced models and developmental pathways, along with clinical examples of both stress and resilience. Everyone deserves to work with healthcare providers who have respect and reverence for the whole human being. More information is available about Mr. Strauss on his website www.CharlesStrauss.com
