For most people their home is their largest investment. Few realize that the tax code actually subsidizes about a third of the cost. The market appears terrible – but in any market there are some people who win. I will discuss the cost basis for home ownership, the true cost and benefits. I will discuss the home as a long term investment and the present marketplace dangers and opportunities. Finally I will talk about how you can proactively purchase a custom home at a better price and create a more valuable long term asset. I believe I can do it without putting the listener to sleep.
