Steve Black
|
Steve Black is an assistant professor of anthropology at Texas State University in San Marcos. He specializes in the prehistoric foraging peoples of greater Texas, archaeological methodology, public education, and Cultural Resource Management. He is founding editor and current co-editor of TexasBeyondHistory.net (TBH), the virtual museum of Texas’ cultural heritage. Although the bulk of Steve’s career has been spent doing university-based CRM research in south-central North America (Texas), he enjoyed a sojourn doing Maya archaeology in Guatemala and Belize and spent eight years building TBH.
