Lauren Koch

As director of development and communications, Lauren is responsible for developing and implementing NCFA's comprehensive fundraising plan, as well as directing all communications efforts, including media and public relations, social media outreach, public awareness campaigns, marketing, webinars, and NCFA's monthly publications. Since joining NCFA in May 2007, Lauren has also served as development associate and assistant director of development and external relations. Chuck Johnson

Chuck serves as president and CEO of the National Council For Adoption. He is responsible for all aspects of NCFA, including management as well as implementing the organization's mission. He is an advocate for children, birthparents, and adoptive families, and is a frequent writer, speaker, and commentator on adoption policy and practice. Chuck currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Council on Accreditation (COA). Prior to joining NCFA, Chuck served 17 years with a licensed child-placing agency in Alabama, including eight years as its executive director.
