What we use to stop ourselves is typically quite hidden. Repeating the voices from childhood as either something to align & agree with, or resist & react to in your everyday choices is it. But it's so ingrained in "the way I've always done things" that we don't even see the imprint & all the ways it causes us to choose the same way over & over. We remain basically the same, maybe in a new city or job or relationship, but at the same level of holding ourselves locked in. This is playing small. But we think it's just us!
