Paula Kay Lazrus

Paula Kay Lazrus is the current President of the AIA’s New York Society and an Assistant Professor at St. John’s University. She received her B.A. in Anthropology at University of Pennsylvania, M.A. in Anthropology at Bryn Mawr College and her Ph.D. at Boston University. She has worked, lived, and traveled extensively in Italy over the past thirty years. Her research interests range from the protection and conservation of antiquities to changing land-use patterns in Italy, and the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software as a tool for better visualizing and understanding past.
