Brian Fagan

Brian Fagan is an archaeologist, historian and a writer. He received his B.A, M.A. and Ph. D. at Pembroke College, Cambridge in archaeology and anthropology. From 1959 through 1965 he was Keeper of Prehistory at the Livingstone Museum, Zambia, where he was involved in fieldwork on multidisciplinary African history and in monuments conservation. In 1966 he moved to the United States and became Professor of Anthropology at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
