Steve Miller has been working on behalf of people with developmental disabilities since 1977. He led some of California's earliest initiatives in Supported Living and helped develop employment support programs helping people with intellectual disabilities succeed in community employment. This work led to the adoption of the term "Supported Employment” and to the creation of publicly funded services we know as "Job Coaching".
