Velma Penermon Stevens, MSW, ACSW, is a member of NASW and she serves on the steering committee of the Big Bend Unit of NASW-FL Chapter. She works for the Sickle Cell Foundation, Incorporated, where she has been employed for the past 9 years. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University and her graduate degree from Florida State University. She has worked in the field of social work for the past 20 years. She has worked with various populations e.g. substance abuse, domestic violence, homeless, youth, mental health and other disenfranchised populations. Mark A. Lazarus, MSW, LCSW
|
Mark A. Lazarus, MSW, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has provided services to victims of crime in Florida and has provided psychiatric health services in a treatment center. He earned his Masters of Social Work degree from Florida State University. He currently serves as the Director of Services at the Renaissance Community Center, coordinating services to persons experiencing homelessness.
