I was born July 24th, 1948 in a small Southwestern Michigan town. I am a high school graduate and have an associate’s degree in an applied science. I am a disabled American veteran, retired government worker and published author. Both of my parents are deceased and I have one sister that’s living. What I am going to tell you are the life and death events in my life that led up to my passion for sharing how powerful the action of forgiveness is. At the age of five in 1954--I was at a summer swimming class at a public beach near the town where I lived. I decided to jump off the diving platform at the edge of the beach just like the big boys were doing. The problem was--I couldn’t swim.
