Stress is a pervasive problem today. However, all stress is not harmful. Stress can actually help us concentrate and perform our best in difficult situations. But the normal stresses and strains of daily life (what might be called "good" stress) can actually do us great damage when we repress our feelings about our difficulties. A 1994 Harvard study concluded that 60% to 90% of all doctor visits are stress-related.
