Working with Indigenous Peoples (IP) from Canada, Japan, Peru, India, Columbia, Thailand, Kenya, Nigeria and the Federation States of Micronesia, Dr. Harriet Kuhnlein, through documented scientific data, demonstrated the superior nutritional values of the traditional foods of IP. Her research with many collaborators is contained in a series of three books that promote the use and preservation of IPs’ local, traditional foods.
