Everyone faces challenges. Our resilience is how we respond to those challenges, which is guided by our understanding of four Ss: self, situation, supports, & strategies.
Unfortunately, our neurological reaction to challenge is often counterproductive to framing those four Ss in a way that is resilient. I would like to talk a bit about how the brain works and why we have that reaction, how to stop the reaction, and how to use the Four Ss framework to use challenges as opportunities to build resilience.
