Whitney joined the Harm Reduction Coalition (HRC) as their Government Relations Manager in 2011. She works with Congress, federal agencies, and the Administration to advance a domestic policy agenda that includes overdose prevention, viral hepatitis, defense of syringe exchange services and access to addiction treatment and recovery services. Her work on the prescription drug epidemic has allowed her the opportunity to contribute to the drafting of several federal authorizing bills as well as to language included in major spending bills.
