His broad range of church and community service includes gun violence prevention and a decade of leadership in Jewish-Christian dialogue in the Washington, DC, area. He has led mission trips to Haiti, Israel and Mexico, as well as groups of pastors seeking to strengthen their leadership skills. A long-distance runner and avid hiker, Rev.
