Killian Noe founded the Recovery Café, a therapeutic community for men and women recovering from homelessness, addiction and other mental health challenges, in 2003, filling a gap of services in Seattle for those between treatment and stable housing. Earlier, she co-founded and directed Samaritan Inns, intensive transitional and healing communities for people recovering from homelessness and addiction, in Washington, DC.
