The goal of the Rodrock Foundation is to raise awareness about children in foster care and encourage people to take part in changing children’s lives that will help shape their future. Their mission is to help children in foster care realize the good in themselves and to help them to overcome the loneliness and uncertainty they may feel. Enriching their lives and finding ways to help children fulfill the destiny that God has planned for them is the ultimate vision of the Rodrock Foundation.

Darol Rodrock

Following graduation from Marysville High School in 1962 in Marysville, Kansas, Darol Rodrock went on to the University of Kansas, where he earned a Masters Degree in Education. He met and married his wife Karen while at KU. Darol spent eleven years teaching history and coaching, mostly at Shawnee Mission West High School, in Overland Park, Kansas. Before and after his school duties, he started building houses in 1974, building over 800 houses. He eventually moved into development and founded Rodrock Development.
