There is an indisputable mystery to leadership. Quite a few individuals feel comfortable with calling themselves good leaders, and the rest of us feel quite inadequate when measured against their standard. The mystery of leadership becomes more profound when an attempt is made to define a good leader. We all seem to recognize a good leader anytime we encounter one. Yet, no leader appears capable of conforming to a single template of characterization. Boiled down to basics, however, a subject such as this will ultimately have to be about becoming an effective leader, and not the perfect leader.
