Tommy John

An outstanding basketball player at Gerstmeyer High School in Terre Haute, where he held the city single game scoring record, John was originally signed by the Cleveland Indians, making his major league debut in 1963. John chose baseball when he realized he had the most talent in it and would not go on to play professional basketball. Of his 26-year major league career, he is best remembered for his seasons with the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 1970s. He made appearances in the All-Star Game in 1968, 1978, 1979, and 1980. Ryan Krzykowski

A native of Naples, Florida and a four-year member of the Yale University football program, Ryan Krzykowski began his career as a high school teacher/athletic coach in his hometown in 1998. Hired to teach math and coach football at Naples High School, he came under the mentorship of new NHS Head Football Coach Bill Kramer, who had recently come to Naples from a successful stint as a Head Coach in Miami with a vision to put together a staff of men who wanted to “do what God wants them to do, and use football (or sport) as a tool to change negative cycles in the lives of our players and their families… for eternity.” From 1998-2005, Ryan coached football and taught math and experie

Matt Williams

Matt grew up in Michigan and played multiple sports, but baseball was his passion from a young age. After excelling in the youth and high school ranks, Matt earned a scholarship to play baseball at Duke University. While at Duke, Matt was a four-year starter as a catcher and was drafted in the 18th round of the 2009 MLB draft by the Chicago Cubs. He played one year of professional baseball before retiring to pursue ministry and coaching. For the past four years, Matt has worked multiple jobs in ministry and coached baseball on the side, including volunteering with CFC for over a year.
