The Ebola media storm that hit US shores this fall fortunately outweighed its actual impact. While the virus remains extremely deadly in Sub-Saharan Africa, only two patients are known to have acquired the disease on United States soil, both in the treatment of an Ebola patient in a Dallas hospital.
