A runner's gait, foot type and the shoes they run in can have a lot to do with how a runner performs during training and racing. Flawed running gait that goes on too long or running in shoes that do not match up with your foot type can lead to injuries and frustration down the road.
During Fitness Momentum show #9, Coach Michael Merlino is joined with running podiatrist, Dr. Jeffrey Ross as they discuss the importance of proper running gait, common foot and lower leg injuries, why these injuries happen and what runners can do to minimize their risk of them occurring to them.
