We will discuss the origin and the science behind a stress response, so called flight-or-fight response. In addition, we will talk about how to recognize the triggers for stress, and how we can learn to adopt the relaxation response which is the opposite of the stress response as per Herbert Benson. We will also discuss and demonstrate some practical strategies and mind-body approaches techniques to develop more effective coping skills and develop resilience when it comes to dealing with stressful situations.
