Student loan debt is now well over one trillion dollars, and the cost of a college education continues to rise.
One definition of slavery from Merriam-Webster is submission to a dominating influence or drudgery and toil.
Debt is a form of slavery and in many cases we have volunteered ourselves as slaves, but that isn't the case with student loan debt. We have allowed our children to become slaves without them knowing that they've been sold.
