Larry Klapow, PhD

Dr. Klapow graduated from CCNY first in his class in Biology and Chemistry, Phi Beta Kappa, and went on to get his PhD in biological oceanography and invertebrate ecology from Scripps Institute in La Jolla. He then went on to work for the State of California looking at marine waters, designing discharge standards for municipal waste water. In that capacity he also studied toxic materials and the effects of cooling waters from these plants on the environment.
