A recent study by the Environmental Working group, in conjunction with the Red Cross, conducted blood tests on the umbilical cord of babies. There was an average of 287 chemicals tested for in every specimen. These chemicals included toxic heavy metals, solvents, pesticides, herbicides and industrial chemicals. Approximately 180 of these substances are cancer-causing, 217 are toxic to the brain in nervous system, and 208 are known to cause birth defects. Worried?
