Karen is happy to be returning to the network after an accident that was life changing resulting in traumatic brain injury (TBI) shattered her world as she knew it and for those who knew her, but she looked good. She is joined by Irene Tomkinson, MSW she has 25 years experience in counseling clients who have experienced trauma. Together they talk openly, honestly about Karen's life before as a successful nurse, athlete. Discussing her struggles as she navigated the medical system she once was a part of, Karen highlights her journey to present day as a survivor of traumatic brain injury.
