Robert Wheeler

Robert Wheeler (Bob to his friends) earned his Bachelor's of Science Degree at the University of Southern California in 1975. His graduate work into the binding action of aflatoxin to rat liver cytosol and transfer of virulence factors from an opportunistic pathogen (Pseudomonas) to Yersinia pestis (bubonic plague) gave him an appreciation of virulence factors in microbes.
