Dr. Tyr Fothergill

Dr. Tyr Fothergill is a Research Fellow at the School of Archaeology and Ancient History at the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom. She received her BA in Anthropology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, her MA in Archaeology from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, and her Ph.D. from the University of Leicester. She combines animal bone size and shape analyses with studies of disease and injury to attempt to reconstruct relationships between humans and other animals in the past.
