However, the despair did not remain. Carol Fruin is a Chicago area native and now resides with her family in rural Huntley, Illinois. She and her husband Ross have been married for 26 years. They live on their farm and have two other children, Hayden 20, and Emilie, 17. She enjoys waterskiing, spending time with friends and family, and is very active in her local church. Carol is an amazing example of faith and courage and it is truly a gift to know her.
