March 25th 2016: Ignacio Rivera on Survival, Healing, and Ending Child Sex Abuse

Ignacio Rivera – activist, writer, educator, filmmaker, performance artist and mother – returns to Sex Out Loud after being one of our first guests in 2012. Ignacio has spoken publicly about being a survivor and sex worker, and how the elimination of sex/sex education coupled with patriarchy, capitalism and homophobia have had a damaging effect on society. They are a 2016 Just Beginnings Collaborative Fellow and currently working on The Heal Project, a campaign to help create dialogue and encourage intentional, proactive sex positivity for survivors of sexual abuse.
