All of Nick Brandt's photographic work relates to the ongoing disappearance of the animal and natural world of East Africa. In the 12 years from 2001-2012, he worked on three photographic essays, charting this disappearing world. The books formed the trilogy, "On This Earth, A Shadow Falls, Across The Ravaged Land." The latest book, "Inherit The Dust" (2016), records the impact of man in places where animals used to roam, but no longer do.
