The statistics about child abuse in the United States alone are shocking. For example: every 10 seconds a report of child abuse is made (either sexual, physical, emotional and/or physical or emotional neglect).
It can be pretty overwhelming to face these facts. Yet if we stop at overwhelm nothing will ever change. There are things we can do. And given that April was National Child Abuse Prevention Month, now is the time.
