Jessica Brathwaite

Jessica Brathwaite conducts qualitative and quantitative research on the use of computer mediated technology in community college classrooms, as well as system and state-wide developmental education reform. Brathwaite holds a PhD in sociology from Temple University. She holds a BA in sociology from CUNY Hunter College and an MA in sociology from Temple. Her dissertation focuses on NYC high schools during former Mayor Bloomberg's administration and asks: How has inequality between schools in socioeconomic status, racial composition, and graduation rates changed during this reform era?

Laurie Peltier spent more than twenty years in financial aid at the college and university level prior to joining College Coach. She graduated from Bentley University with a Bachelors degree in Marketing, and completed her MBA at Anna Maria College, where she also served as financial aid director. In addition, she was an assistant director of financial aid at Becker College and has worked as a consultant with several other colleges in Massachusetts.
