Tom LaMarra

Tom LaMarra, a native of New Jersey, has been a racing fan since the mid-1970s. He graduated from Rutgers University, got a job as a newspaper reporter, and eventually landed at Daily Racing Form. He and his wife, Karen, moved to Lexington, Ky. in 1994, and have been there since. Mr. LaMarra has been the News Editor of The Blood-Horse magazine for more than 10 years. He is an award winning writer and is featured on their website with his weekly video handicapping segment of the race of the week.

With the second Jewel of the Triple Crown behind us, Woodbine has scheduled to run the $200,000 Grade 2 Eclipse Stakes. The Windy City will kick off Memorial Day Weekend with several stakes including the $100,000 Grade 3 Arlington Classic on the Turf and the $100,000 Grade 3 Hanshin Cup. Joining us to discuss the Kentucky Derby and Preakness, in addition to handicapping those races, will be News Editor of the Blood-Horse Tom LaMarra.
