Leslie Turner

Leslie Turner earned her nursing degree from the University of Miama School of Nursing. From there, she went on to work in the NICU of the Children’s Mercy Hospital (Kansas City, MO) as both a staff nurse and lactation consultant and, later, as a member of the craniofacial team as a lactation consultant and feeding specialist. A 3-year stay in China found her advocating for Chinese orphans, many with craniofacial anomalies. Leslie is now in Tampa, working with Dr. Pat Ricalde, founder of the St. Joseph’s Hospital Children’s Craniofacial Center.
